General conditions Espeye

1. Reservation
After receipt of your application for reservation (per e-mail, post, fax or telephone) you receive after a few days the confirmation from us by post.
Together with the confirmation you also receive the invoice. After we have received the deposit in time the reservation is definitive.

2. Period of rent
The period of rent for the gîtes is at least 1 week and runs from Saturday 16,00 h to Saturday 10,00 h. Outside the season it is also possible to rent our gîtes for a shorter period (at least 2 nights) or longer periods.
For the camping à la ferme apply the tariffs from the afternoon 15.00 h to 10.00 h in the morning. A reservation per night is also possible.

3. Payment
The deposit for each reservation is 30% of the total amount of the invoice and shall be in our possession within 10 days after receipt of the invoice (without deposit it is not possible to claim your reservation). The balance of the invoice shall be paid not later than 4 weeks before the start of the rent period. In case of reservations within 4 weeks before the start of the rent period the total amount shall be paid immediately after receipt of the invoice.
The total amount shall anyway be paid before the gîte can be occupied or before you can enter the camping.

4. Deposit
On arrival at Espeye you have to pay in, cash, a deposit of € 250,00 per gîte when reporting your arrival.
The security shall be repaid when no defects or are found and the gîte has been cleaned.

5. Annulment
Annulment shall be in writing and shall be signed by the person who has signed the reservation form.

• When an annulment takes place more than 10 weeks before the start of the period of rent, 70% of the deposit shall be refunded.
• When annulling 8 to 10 weeks before the start of the period of rent 50% of the total rent shall be refunded.
• When annulling 4 to 8 weeks before the start of the period of rent 40% of the total rent shall be refunded.
• When annulling 4 weeks or less before the start of the period of rent 10% of the total rent shall be refunded.
• For annulling on the starting date of the period of rent or after that no restitution shall be done.

We advise you to take out a complete travel, annulling and liability insurance.

6. Cleaning
50 Euro for the cleaning is added to the bill.

7. Linen
Bedding, kitchen towels and towels are included in the price.

8. Domestic animals
Domestic animals are allowed in consultation with us; damage caused by your domestic animal shall however be recovered from you.

9. Maximum number of persons
The maximum number of persons of the relevant gîte may not be exceeded, unless explicitly agreed on with the landlord. This, however, involves extra costs. For possible visitors approval shall have to be obtained from the landlord. The use of the swimming pool by visitors is not allowed.

10. Energy
All prices are including water and electricity. We expect from you to be water and energy conscious. Firewood is for sale à € 8,50 per wheelbarrow for the two gîtes having a wood-burning stove.

11. Claims
During their stay tenants are responsible for the gîte, the contents and all other matters belonging to the relevant gîte. Also damage caused by co-occupiers or domestic animals has to be paid by him/her.
The landlord cannot accept any claims or responsibility for damage and inconveniences in whatever form and originated by whatever cause, for the tenant or his co-occupiers being present in the rented gîte or in any other building situated on the estate Espeye.
Notwithstanding the extreme meticulous construction of our offer for gîtes and camping places we cannot accept responsibility for inconveniences emanating from interim changes of situations through no fault of us and/or unbeknown to us.
We cannot accept any liability or responsibility for damage and inconveniences in whatever form and originating by whatever cause on the estate in general.
Notably the stay on the area in and around the swimming pool and on and around the playing equipment which are present on Espeye are at your own risk.
